This is a bar of our handmade lavender-verbena soap, wrapped in soft Merino wool and felted by hand, with one of our own DaisyFields designs on top. It’s a bar of soap and a washcloth in one.
Why felted soap?
Gentle scrubbing built in. The wool softly exfoliates your skin as you wash, so you don’t need a washcloth or loofah.
Lasts longer. The wool protects the soap, so it doesn’t melt away in the dish.
No slipping. The wool gives you a good grip, so no more chasing the soap around the tub.
Shrinks as you use it. The wool tightens around the soap as the bar gets smaller.
Nothing goes to waste. When the soap is gone, the little wool pouch can hold soap scraps or a sprig of lavender for your drawer.
How to use: Wet it, rub it on your skin, and the soap lathers right through the wool. Afterward, squeeze out the water and set it somewhere it can dry, not in a puddle.
Each soap is felted by hand and individually designed right here on the farm, so no two are exactly alike. It makes a sweet gift, if you can bear to give it away.
