Meet Your Farmers

LeeAnn and Dave turned to farming as a way to enjoy a simpler life and to graciously sustain the needs of local families. Both have a family heritage of working hard to provide exceptional food—and in caring for our animals and our land.

  • Lee Ann

LeeAnn is a 4th generation farmer, whose great-grandmother saved the family farm during the Great Depression by planting popcorn and peddling it to movie theaters. The family farming history continued on her grandfather’s farm, where the next two generations produced eggs, milk, and meat for their local community.

LeeAnn herself holds a Diploma of Agriculture alongside her MBA and MS degrees; and she continues to research the best ways to provide exceptional animal care and naturally grow produce.

  • Dave

Dave developed his strong values and work ethics through a 20-year career in the United States Marine Corps; and he learned about quality food at the side of his father — a certified Master Baker. Beginning as a child, Dave worked with his dad in the family bakery, learning classic techniques to create food that fits our farmhouse table.

Dave has also had a lifelong love of gardening, which he has translated into expertise in natural farming. Dave is always searching out new ways to apply organic and ecological growing techniques to the farm’s produce field and orchard.
